Not only does the vakarian do everything it claims to, it fits FAT BOYS! I’m fat, but got a fatter friend to try it on and it fit him and he wears a 5X shirt! It holds all my mags, my radio, my ifak, an extra tourniquet, and I still have empty pockets. I haven’t attached anything to the molle yet, but let me tell you I have more than enough to carry what I need. This literally has to be the most modular system on the market. I’m not even gonna mention price because affordable was an understatement
You wouldn't read all the honest and true five star reviews would you? Not content that something could actually work and be worth this price? What a negative nancy. So yeah, my review is one star. This one is for all the Debbie downers. All the idiots who refuse to see the light.
Quick vakarian review. Ran a mile wearing it and this Czech gas mask. The vakarian is very comfortable, especially with its breathability vs the standard army issue IOTV. The shoulder straps didn't dig in on my down strides nor did the carrier bounce around much. The 5.56 insert securely held my phone for playing music, in fact it was so snug when I put it in upside down on my cool down walk it held all the buttons down and started downloading firmware from factory settings. That was worrisome, but a Samsung issue. The vakarian has retention for sure. As a basic carrier it's phenomenal, looking forward to quick release clips on its cumberbund, since velcro release is a hassle. But that's it man. It was a joy to run in, and I'm fat and slow. Adding the vakarian to at least one of my four cardio sessions a week.
Phenomenonal plate carrier.
